Dan O'Deens
"I am simply a man, pursuing a relationship with Jesus. I had the privilege of founding and now serving in an incredible church community called Gateway Church. God has given me an amazing wife, Gay; and four unbelievable children, Cory, Gabby, Chaim and Josiah."
Dan believes the church is the hope of the world. Christ's Kingdom is extended ONLY THRU HIS CHURCH. The CHURCH is the only organization He gave His authority and the keys of the kingdom to! (Mt.16:18-19). Jesus gave His life for the Church, Dan wants to invest his entire life in the church. Planting Gateway Church from scratch and giving birth to several other churches, he understands leadership, creativity, marketing, systems and structures. He is committed to a balance of biblical and cultural exegesis.
Dan is a trained and certified supervisor and CPR instructor with the American Red Cross. He has served on the front lines of America's greatest crisis...9-11 and Hurricane Katrina. His passion and talent for organizing chaos is born out of a God-given gift and a heart for people who are searching for hope.
Dan is also a professional coach. He coaches other church planters as well as 2 travel soccer teams: a Nike and Adidas premier club. He believes that coaching both the technical and tactical aspects of the game is transferable to business and church leadership.
Dans greatest desire is the success of others as they seek to breath life and hope in the people they serve in both church and community. He hopes to instill in the leaders he works with, a love for the church, confidence in their skills and the tools and systems they need to be great tacticians in the harvest field that God has called them to serve in.
Pastor Pierre
Pastor Pierre was born in Haiti. He and his wife felt called to ministry which prompted a move to Florida, where Pastor Pierre atteneded Bible College. He and his wife started a Haitian church in Florida which grew successfully. After feeling the call to return and serve in Haiti, Pastor Pierre and his wife have been involved in starting several orphanages, schools, and churches and is currently training 150 Haitian pastors. Pasto Pierre serves as the CPR-3 Haiti National Director.

Humanity at its core demands compassion for the overlooked. People who live in extreme poverty, people who experience crisis in their lives and people whose lives are devastated by catastrophe are looking for Hope. For those who are blessed, there is a responsibility for what we choose to do with the resources that have been entrusted to us. History will surely report how we chose to respond to the overlooked. Thankfully, what is written is up to us.
Individuals and the Corporate world have historically been generous. There is a great need today for integrity in the arena of Compassion Ministries. CPR-3 is a Mission that can be counted on! Your gifts and support to Compassion and Hope to the Overlooked is our greatest desire.
People turn to God during times of Crisis. The church historically shines during crisis. The faith based community is one of the greatest providers of resource, love and care. We have an incredible opportunity to use the gifts that God has given us to serve the people of Haiti. The reality is that the cameras and news coverage are already turning away from Haiti, yet over 1 million people remain displaced due to the earthquake, hundreds of thousands are still morning the loss of loved ones and wondering how to move forward. The time to act is now, and Haiti is just too close to ignore. We can help.
CPR-3 is mobilizing people to go and serve the people of Haiti. Our teams will spend time working along the Haitian people to do things like rebuild orphanages, minister to the people living in camps who have lost everything, helping to create and train people for job opportunities, loving on orphans and children, and working our best to show the love and hope that comes through Christ to the people we encounter.
We believe short-term missions more often touches and changes those who go more than it does those who were served. Going on a trip, especially to a poverty stricken country will change the way you look at your life and that's what we want. We want to serve and help those in Haiti but we also want to touch your heart and see God change your heart so that you develop or build upon your passion for people who are hurting and in need...the OVERLOOKED!
Like you, CPR-3 has watched the devastation of the earthquake in Haiti. Our hearts break for the people and the children impacted. Does your heart break for the things that break the heart of God? After much prayer, conversation, and counsel, CPR-3 has realized that we couldn't turn a blind eye to the needs of a neighbor the poorest country in the western hemisphere, we hope you'll join us.

Consulting & Coaching
The purpose of personal coaching is to provide you with assistance in leadership, skill development, methodology, encouragement and tools to help you accomplish your goals for the organization that God has called you to lead all in the context of personal relationships.
Coaching may very well be the single most important ingredient for success in a new church plantHaving someone to guide new church planters along the sometimes difficult path of ministry can be invaluable Robert Logan
Can you improve your effectiveness?
If you could do one thing that would improve your effectiveness by at least 64%, would you do it? Studies show that good coaching increases the effectiveness of a leader by 64% and 80%.
The Role of the Coach
Breathe Life Coaching and Consulting Group, Inc. is Christ-centered. The Coachs role is to help the client launch a healthy, Christ-centered organization. The coachs role is not to determine the philosophy, strategy, mission and vision, or your organization, but to come alongside the church and clients vision. The Clients role is to prepare for each scheduled meeting, to ask questions, seek counsel, and remain teachable.
What is coaching?
Coaching can be simply defined ashelping other people succeed. A coach is someone who will come alongside you and help you succeed at whatever your goal is. Coaching helps you clarify your goals, prioritize your activity, brainstorm possible solutions to your challenges, and holds you accountable to reaching your dreams. The premise of coaching is the belief that you are the expert on your dreams. You dont need someone to tell you what your dreams should be or could be. A good coach would never do that. Instead, a coach draws out of you that which is already in you. Coaching sounds easy, but really it is an art. The art is in the listening and questioning. A good coach perceives where you are at in your process, and knows what impactful questions to ask you in order to move you closer to your goal.
Why You Need a Coach
- You need someone that has no other agenda other than wanting you to succeed.
- You need someone that is trained in asking you the right questions.
- You need someone that is committed to holding you accountable.
- You need an encourager along the way.
- You need someone who can brainstorm with you.
- You need someone that listens intently to what you are saying and what you are not saying.
- You need someone that helps you refocus and stay on task
BL coaching is Situational. There are four types of coaching interactions which may be used as needed:
1. Facilitator: will help you process and implement your plan
2. Solution Giver: will offer you counsel and experience on decisions you face
3. Resource Provider: will provide you with appropriate resources or experts for your special needs
4. Catalyst: will kick you into action

CRISIS AND CATASTROPHE HAPPENS AROUND THE WORLD AND IS NO RESPECTOR OF PERSON OR PLACE. HOW CAN YOU GET INVOLVED? PRAY - GIVE - GO!
X
God loves you and wants you to experience peace and life abundant and eternal. The Bible says...
- "We have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5:1
- "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." John 3:16
- "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." John 10:10
Why dont most people have this peace and abundant life that God planned for us to have?
God created us in His own image to have an abundant life. He did not make us as robots to automatically love and obey Him. God gave us a will and a freedom of choice. We chose to disobey God and go our own willful way. We still make this choice today. This results in separation from God.
The Bible says...
- "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23
- "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 6:23
Our Attempts to Reach God
People have tried in many ways to bridge this gap between themselves and God
- "There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end it leads to death." Proverbs 14:12
- " But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear." Isaiah 59:2
No bridge reaches God...except one...
Jesus Christ died on the Cross and rose from the grave. He paid the penalty for our sin and bridged the gap between God and people.
- "For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Jesus Christ."
1 Timothy 2:5
- "For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God."
1 Peter 3:18
- "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
God has provided the only way. Each person must make a choice.
We must trust Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and receive Him by personal invitation.
- "Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me." Revelation 3:20
- " Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God." John 1:12
- "That if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." Romans 10:9
Where are you?
Will you receive Jesus Christ right now?
Here is how you can receive Christ:
1.Admit your need (I am a sinner).
2.Be willing to turn from your sins (repent).
3.Believe that Jesus Christ died for you on the Cross and rose from the grave.
4.Through prayer, invite Jesus Christ to come in and control your life through the Holy Spirit. (Receive Him as Lord and Savior.)
How to Pray:
Dear Lord Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as Lord and Savior. In Jesus name. Amen.
Gods Assurance: His Word
If you prayed this prayer, the Bible says...
- " Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Romans 10:13
Did you sincerely ask Jesus Christ to come into your life? Where is He right now? What has He given you?
- "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faithand this not from yourselves, it is the gift of Godnot by works, so that no one can boast." Ephesians 2:8,9
Receiving Christ, we are born into Gods family through the supernatural work of the Holy Spirit who indwells every believer. This is called regeneration, or the new birth. This is just the beginning of a wonderful new life in Christ. To deepen this relationship you should:
1. Read your Bible everyday to know Christ better.
2. Talk to God in prayer every day.
3. Tell others about Christ.
4. Worship, fellowship, and serve with other Christians in a church where Christ is preached.
5. As Christ's representative in a needy world, demonstrate your new life by your love and concern for others.
Physical and Spiritual Water
The Bible speaks of both physical water necessary for life here on earth, and living water necessary for eternal life. One is for temporary relief, the other for eternal satisfaction. Jesus said in the Gospel of John, "Everyone who drinks this water (physical water) will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life." John 4:13,14
In Biblical times people thirsted, wells were dug or rocks struck. People who were thirsty were given water. Their needs were both supplied and satisfied. Throughout scripture water is used in reference to spiritual and physical realities.
The context displayed in the biblical narrative that we have come to know as The Woman at the Well parallels the reality of much of our world today. People are thirsty! Most developing countries send their women and children to collect water for their daily needs and provisions. (drinking, cooking, cleaning, bathing and watering their livestock)
Providing clean physical water and sharing the good news that God loves you and that we love you enough to put feet to our faith and provide one of lifes most basic needs (water) is to offer hope in what often looks like a hopeless situation.
Providing clean water does not mean that everyone accepts the invitation of Jesus to partake in the drink of living water, but it does mean entire communities will be exposed to the gospel and will experience a practical demonstration of the gospel and will then have an opportunity to respond to the invitation. After all, Gods love was never meant to be dictated, but to be 'demonstrated.' But God demonstrates his love to us in that while we were yet sinners, Jesus died for us. Romans 5:8 When we think of the poor we must remember that people can be poor physically, but also poor in spirit. We have the opportunity to quench physical thirst and soul thirst.
Physical and Spiritual WASHing
All of us are in need of physical and spiritual cleansing. Every one of us gets dirty physically and has a need for a good bath! Scripture also tells us that everyone has sinned and falls short of personal relationship with God. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
King David had made some poor choices in his life. He had sinned against God, he had committed adultery and murder. In his prayer of confession he longs to be restored relationally to his God. He prays, Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow.
Psalm 51:7
Crisis, Catastrophe and Extreme Poverty are REAL! The overlooked and the least of these captured the attention of the prophets and Jesus. Isaiah shares some extremely strong words concerning our responsibility: Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong. Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow. Come now, let us settle the matter, says the LORD. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. Isaiah 1:16-18 As we care for physical needs, there comes with that the HOPE of Spiritual Cleansing.
What does WASH encompass?
CPR-3s WAter, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) initiative approaches the worlds challenges for safe water, improved sanitation, and good hygiene in an integrated manner to optimize positive health and economic impact. Safe water must address water quality to prevent waterrelated diseases and also be close enough to the users home to encourage use of the water
source. Sanitation involves both physical infrastructure, such as latrines, and also the use and maintenance of the sanitation facilities. Good hygiene is the practice of cleanliness, such as hand washing, to prevent diseases.
Worldwide, 884 million people lack access to safe water, and 2.5 billion lack basic sanitation. In addition, just not having enough water is a growing problem. The demand for water across the globe is steadily increasing at a rate of 100 percent every 20 years as industrialization, agricultural use, urbanization, and a rising standard of living for the worlds growing population drive consumption higher. This puts entire communities at risk in regard to health, food production, economic opportunities, development, and the lives of their most vulnerable members - children.
By 2025, it is estimated that more than 2.8 billion people in 48 countries will face water stress or scarcity. Safe drinking water, improved sanitation, good hygiene, and good water resource management can lead to a reduction in child mortality, cut transmission of malaria, improve
public health, and reduce extreme poverty. (World Vision May, 2011)
Almost a billion people on the planet dont have access to clean drinking water.

An individualized approach to mobilize disciples, church planters, churches and leaders to accomplish their calling by creating a movement of the church that multiplies and replicates itself organically.
THE MIG VISION & MOVEMENT
Missional Incarnational Gateways MIG COMMUNITIES
We plant the seed. The seed is Jesus, not a building a program. We water, GOD Grows! We dont plant churcheswe plant Jesus! Our focus is to make disciples who make disciples. Our investment is in people not buildings and programs.
What I believe about Church determines how I do church. Dont be conformed to the patterns of the church you have experienced. Romans 12
A NEW DEFINITION of CHURCH
The presence of Jesus among His people called out as a spiritual family to pursue His mission on this planet. Neil Cole describes Church as: People who follow Jesus together Church is NOT a religious event, a building, a structure or a destination. Church culture has become a model of Come and See more than GO and BE CPR-3 is in pursuit of Biblical Balance:
1. Church Growth where we maximize traditional ecclesiology (COME AND SEE) A model where we started to DO Church better. God has used it. That model is not wrong, it is simply incomplete.
2. Missional Incarnational Gateways A model where we learn how to live in biblical community, loving one another in authentic relationships. OUR RESPONSIBILITY: The alerting of the whole world that our God reigns and we do that by listening, serving and being with the people we are called to LOVE, both missionally and incarnationally. The church is not to be another silo in common culture. The church goes countercultural to the status quo of the established church. The church (the presence of Jesus) is already in the culture. The church is a WHO not a WHAT! The Church is a VERB. It is a BEING, not a DOING or a PLACE I go to! DISCIPLING is learning and living the ways of Jesus so that others may learn and live His ways too, so that others learn and live His ways too, and so on. As you are going implies that disciple making is a process. Jesus described missions as serving anyone and everyone, everywhere, every day.
